How the game changes
- The source defines 100 checks with standard options; optional fruit, bunny and candle checks can raise this to 240.
- Equipment, eggs, keys and matches enter the multiworld pool; optional candles, secret bunnies and fruits add more checks.
- Choose the Fireworks ending or Egg Hunt. The source fixes the fourth egg-door requirement at 64.
- Key Ring and Matchbox options replace consumable collections with reusable unlocks.
- Configure bubble chains, disc jumps, wheel tricks and other techniques individually. In-game map tracking and Universal Tracker help route checks.
Before you start
- Play vanilla first if you want to preserve its discoveries: this randomizer exposes secret locations and item mechanics.
- Install the APWorld, open the game at its title screen, then connect the ANIMAL WELL client. The client is part of the setup, not an optional tracker.
- Linux instructions run both the Windows game and Windows Archipelago through Wine. Native Linux client support is not claimed.
- Some checks intentionally require Warp to Hub or quitting and continuing to escape. Follow the guide rather than assuming every pickup has a walking exit.
- The guide warns about rare chest-related client failures, a Mock Disc/ghost problem after reconnecting, and using the Remote near the bunny mural too early potentially requiring a save reset.
- Several unsupported options remain unavailable. The older overview says alternate goals are planned, but the tagged 0.5.4 options already implement Egg Hunt.
