Explore game mechanics
Browse possible checks, rewards and settings. What appears in your game depends on your World options.
The source defines 306 location checks; 304 are active by default because the Boots of Pleading and double-jump checks require optional third-party mods. Its item table lists 204 types and 311 copies. Default generation uses 285 randomized item copies, 19 fixed placements and two precollected movement abilities. Options can change the included checks and item pool. Repeated quest and currency counters remain in Items; the progressive tab covers multi-copy upgrade lines. This catalog is source-based and does not imply a runtime playtest.

Known scope and limitations
- Install the Multiworld mod and its dependency chain, preferably through the maintainer's Mod Installer.
- New saves use the True Torment framework with normal enemy and boss stats. Ascending the randomizer save is disabled; plan one playthrough.
- Optional movement items require their corresponding separate mods. Enabling the options alone does not install them.
- Native Linux is explicitly incompatible in the reviewed guide. Use the Windows build through Proton and the documented BepInEx override.
- Some quest objects and arena enemies deliberately remain unchanged to avoid broken progression.
