Celeste uses an open-world structure: every included chapter is available from the start, while multiworld items unlock the objects needed inside it. A configurable Strawberry requirement can gate the selected goal and the Epilogue. The v1.1.3 tables list 1,216 check entries and 595 item names; chapter selection, optional checks and item scopes mean a seed contains only its configured subset.

Playing with others
One climber per Archipelago slot, exchanging items with other games. This is not a shared-screen multiplayer mod.
Known scope and limitations
- This is the Open World integration for the original Celeste, not Celeste 64. Use Celeste 1.4 with Olympus and Everest.
- An open report describes Zoom Trap disrupting the 5A Seeker cutscene. Exiting to the map is possible; disable that trap for a conservative setup.
- Connection fields require keyboard input. A reported conflict affects movement keys assigned to letters on that screen.
- The setup explicitly documents Windows and Linux. The base game's macOS support is not evidence of this mod's compatibility.
