How the game changes

  • Spirit defeats and collectible pickups send checks. Spirits, relics, upgrade souls and lore can arrive from other worlds.
  • Choose ending A, B, C or any ending. The Curio stays at its original pedestal, and ending C still requires all seven Stone Tablet fragments.
  • Configure the starting spirit and respite, including alternate starting regions. Optional early movement items reduce the chance of a slow start.
  • Optional entrance randomization keeps transitions two-way. Enemy shuffling and chapter bounds further change the route and combat pressure.
  • Shuffle relic equip costs and spirit upgrades, optionally add unused relics, and control which non-progression items are retained when the pool is reduced.
  • The LiveSplit component manages the Archipelago connection. PopTracker supports autotracking, and client 2.4.4 adds DeathLink support.

Before you start

  • The reviewed client targets Ender Lilies 1.1.6 and runs as a LiveSplit component. Back up normal saves before installing and keep LiveSplit running during play.
  • Download the specifically named Ender Lilies APWorld 0.8. Its repository also hosts Ender Magnolia, so the generic latest-release link currently leads to a different game.
  • Configure the seed in the Archipelago YAML. Other standalone-randomizer tabs in LiveSplit are ignored for an Archipelago run; connect before loading the save.
  • If a controller is not detected when using the component's launch button, the guide suggests launching through Steam while retaining the LiveSplit connection.
  • Logic expects movement techniques including flops, airstalls and Silva height gains. This is not identical to the movement assumptions of a vanilla first playthrough.
  • The guide contains an unofficial Proton workaround, but explicitly describes Linux as unsupported with possible LiveSplit crashes and runtime-library issues. Only Windows is listed here as the supported route.
