How the game changes

Checks: 204 possible collectible locations; the default excludes the four Clock Tower anti-cubes and activates 200. Clock checks can require waiting or changing the system clock.
Items: Golden cubes, anti-cubes, cube bits, named door unlocks, treasure maps, artifacts, heart cubes, sunglasses and optional carry/turn abilities. Rotation Trap is available; reload and gravity traps are disabled.
Goals: Reach the ending with a chosen total from 32 to 64 cubes. The Sync preset uses 32 and Async uses 64; both exclude clock anti-cubes.
Options: Knowledge logic, ability randomization, scrambled tetromino inputs, extra cubes, cube-to-bit replacement, trap density and DeathLink. Clock checks can require long real-time waits; high bit counts may move items into starting inventory.

Explore game mechanics

Before you start

Install HAT, then extract FezAP.zip into Mods/FezAP and install the matching APWorld. Launch HAT, create a new save for a new seed, open the console and connect using server, port and slot name. Use the existing save when returning to the same room. On AZERTY the console key is ².
This is a preview. Do not open locked doors while disconnected. Remote checks may briefly hitch; an asynchronous fix remains an open proposal. Some map icons and visual-accessibility features have limitations. The mod metadata still says 0.5.0 inside release 0.6.1, so verify the package rather than trusting the displayed version alone. Runtime, Linux compatibility and binary security have not been independently validated.
Keep the client, game and APWorld versions paired; compatibility with other combinations is not established in the reviewed sources.
