How the game changes
- Individual objectives within calendar levels, level completions and hidden collectibles provide checks. Challengesanity adds the optional challenge checks.
- The nine calendar weeks are separate unlock items, with a configurable starting week selected randomly by default. Optional overtime adds three seasonal unlocks, each covering three shifts.
- The Telepost Tournament option adds its three DLC races and their challenges, unlocked by one tournament item. Every participating co-op player must own the DLC when this option is used.
- Repeated upgrades improve walking, jumping, swimming, dashing, respawn movement and action cooldowns. These change the kiwi's actual handling rather than merely displaying Archipelago notifications.
- Received cosmetic items select and equip a random cosmetic from a category. Incompatible level situations and cosmetics from unowned content are filtered; cosmetic delivery is not a promise that every outfit will equip immediately.
- The goal is to complete Stand Your Post, the final winter level. Its gate combines the configured requirements: total completed levels, completions per week, received collectibles, checked collectible locations and any required overtime or tournament completions.
- By default the finale requires eighteen level completions and at least one completion in every week. The final week can require at most three earlier completions because the finale itself cannot be a prerequisite.
- Choose Bronze, Silver or Gold as the completion-check threshold; Silver is the default. Overtime, tournament and Challengesanity are disabled by default. Overtime checks at Gold are explicitly described as very difficult.
- Optional DeathLink shares deaths with the multiworld. The in-game log, toggled with F7, shows received items and sent checks; selecting the locked finale displays its remaining requirements.
Before you start
- Use client 1.1.2 with APWorld 1.1.0. Their version numbers intentionally differ in the currently published setup; the APWorld declares Archipelago 0.6.5 or later.
- The recommended installation is a separate Thunderstore mod-manager profile. Manual installation uses BepInEx 5.4.23.4, initialized by one launch, then the client package's DLLs in its plugin folder. Launch the modded profile, not an unmodified game shortcut.
- Connect from the game's main-menu panel using the server, port, exact slot name and optional room password before starting the campaign.
- For online co-op, the maintainer recommends that both players connect to the same Archipelago slot, then join each other through KeyWe's online menu. The guide also allows only one player to run the mod; it does not describe separate AP progression slots inside one shared game.
- Keep the APProfile and APSave files together in the game's ArchipelagoSaves directory. They are keyed by seed and slot; do not assume ordinary Steam Cloud coverage includes these additional files. Back up normal saves before modding.
- Use ordinary generated numeric seed names and a filesystem-safe slot name. The reviewed client parses a numeric segment of the seed during profile selection, so arbitrary custom seed names are not established as compatible.
- If required overtime or tournament completions are configured while that content is disabled, generation resets the corresponding requirement to zero. Collectibles received as items and collectible checks completed in the game remain distinct requirements.
- Keep the client connected while playing. Reconnect fixes exist in the release history, but Panludia has not independently validated durable recovery of every check across offline play or interrupted sessions.
- This listing covers the documented Windows client. A base-game platform or Steam Remote Play feature is not proof of a Linux mod setup or of every controller and multiplayer combination.
