Mental OmegaArchipelago randomizer mod
Randomize Mental Omega campaigns, technology and rewards through a dedicated launcher. The current V1.41 APWorld has an empty mission catalogue in its published package, preventing new multiworld generation through the reviewed code path.

How the game changes
- Source gameplay design: campaign objectives and victories, unit/building/power access and configurable buffs. The published V1.41 World omits the campaign mission/check catalogue needed to generate a multiworld.
- Progression layouts: Classic, Mission List, Grid and a separate Shop run. Source logic controls open missions, Grid neighbors and local victory markers; these designs are distinct from the current package limit.
- Player setup: reusable launcher_settings YAML or grouped Archipelago Options Creator fields. The release targets Mental Omega 3.3.6 on Windows and Archipelago 0.6.8.
- Client design: validated seed/team/slot binding, saved pending checks, received-item records and replay-aware acknowledgments. Source protections do not establish full packaged executable equivalence.
- Shop design: stage choices and purchases, AP rewards retained across restarts and a completion condition bound to the current AP slot. A failed current run retains permanent progression while resetting run currency/purchases.
Before you start
- The V1.41 release contains launcher 1.41 and APWorld manifest 0.6.6 for Archipelago 0.6.8. The inspected APWorld has an empty mission-generation list and zero campaign missions/locations, although its tagged sources contain 97 missions. Its generator rejects an empty list, so new multiworld generation cannot proceed through that packaged code path. Wait for a corrected maintainer APWorld before starting a new room with this release.
- Standalone play is a separate launcher mode. Use a dedicated, unmodified Mental Omega 3.3.6 Windows installation beside MentalOmegaClient.exe, Syringe.exe and gamemd.exe, and verify an original campaign first. The World packaging issue does not establish whether the standalone executable succeeds or fails.
- The launcher generates loose mission copies and stores its state under RandomizerLauncherData. Custom maps, map packs and other gameplay modifications are outside the documented scope. Back up existing state before updating; some received rewards take effect on future mission launches.
- Shop Mode treats a detected defeat, in-game restart or game-process exit without a victory marker as run failure. Its source retains permanent progression and AP received-item history, but current-run currency/purchases do not carry over. File replacement and receipt replay protections do not establish complete recovery from interrupted writes.
- The executable includes a Bonus.mix archive and game-related icons. Their complete origins, redistribution basis and dependency notices were not established. This review makes no infringement determination. Source behavior and selected packaged resources were inspected; full executable-code correspondence and in-game compatibility were not verified.
