How the game changes

  • Each generated chunk contains 192 layer checks, with 27 additional shop checks. The default uses one chunk; the chunk-count option supports up to 25.
  • Progressive tools, haste and efficiency provide mining upgrades. Excavation and reach improve digging coverage; temporary boosts and consumable rewards support mining.
  • Optional progressive chunks start with a restricted area and add World Barrier Expansion items to unlock larger sections of the generated grid.
  • Fossils found while digging fund permanent upgrades and item-shop purchases. Shop tiers are unlocked by Progressive Shop items.
  • Sixteen trap weights can be adjusted individually, including setting each to zero. The goal is to clear all layers in the generated chunks.

Before you start

  • Requires Minecraft Java Edition and a dedicated Forge 1.19.4 server, which may run locally. The reviewed installer metadata selects Java 17 and Forge 45.3.15. No gameplay or installation execution was performed.
  • The World completion rule does not require expansion items although multi-chunk completion needs access to those chunks. After reconnecting, the layer counter also includes shop checks, which can cause premature goal detection.
  • Shop purchases made while disconnected are saved locally, but their pending checks have no identified durable replay path after a server restart. An already purchased check cannot simply be bought again.
  • Temporary excavation boosts can restore an older upgrade level on expiry. Several temporary effects use memory-only cleanup state, so restarting during an effect has incomplete recovery handling.
  • The client downloads Java, Forge and mod updates without verifying an artifact digest or signature. Default unschemed Archipelago connections can fall back to unencrypted transport; specify a secure endpoint explicitly when available.
  • APWorld contents and packaged mod resources match the inspected source snapshots. Full compiled-mod correspondence remains unestablished, and some dependency license notices are incomplete in the JAR.
