Source catalog Release osu!AP v1.3.2-beta APWorld and Python clientWorld 1.3.2

The APWorld declares 1,040 possible check IDs: two per 520 generic Song tokens. Standard settings select 45 playable beatmapsets plus one final beatmap and produce 81 checks: one for each playable song, plus a second for five starting songs and 31 seed-selected additional songs. The World options cap the theoretical generated total at 820 (410 playable songs × two); filters can lower generation or cause a descriptive insufficient-song error.

Browse the gameplay families that can send checks to your multiworld.

1,040 Possible addressable song-slot checksDefault marks checks from configurations selected by standard options; the generated set can still vary with logic and seed.

Playing with others

Players use separate osu! sessions and exchange checks and items through Archipelago. This client tracks individual scores; it does not create an osu! multiplayer lobby.

Known scope and limitations

  • This review covers the v1.3.2 beta APWorld and Python client. Windows paths are supported in the inspected code; Linux paths assume Wine, and native Linux or macOS operation has not been established.
  • An osu! account, OAuth application credentials and player ID are required for API tracking. The packaged guide is unfinished; the linked external guide targets MultiworldGG and does not establish a tested installation for this exact release.
  • The client prints the OAuth response, including its access token, to the console. Saved client credentials are plaintext. Remove credentials and tokens before sharing console output or configuration.
  • Tracking reads the ten most recent scores. There is no durable local queue for interrupted check sends, and an unhandled API error can stop automatic polling. Offline play or interruptions may require replaying a song.
  • The manual update command with an explicit mode contains an uninitialized-variable path. Automatic tracking uses a separate path, but has not been tested here.
  • Forced song inclusions can bypass difficulty, length and other filters. Include/exclude overlap and oversized inclusion lists are not explicitly rejected.
  • The World models completion as collecting enough Performance Points; the client also requires passing the final song. Duplicate song unlocks can occupy additional item slots.
  • No music recordings, artwork or playable beatmap archives are bundled in the reviewed APWorld. Beatmaps are obtained separately. A stale cached client differs from the source; standard Python ZIP loading selects the source. No game execution or reproducible release build was performed.
