How the game changes
- Receive ascent unlocks and biome permissions needed to light the next campfire.
- Optional progressive stamina starts at 25%, restores the normal bar and can extend it further. Progressive Pack unlocks a fanny pack, then a backpack.
- Item Sanity locks items out of loot pools until received; Loot Sanity separately reshuffles luggage, trees and bushes.
- Multiplayer Only Items is included in the 0.6.2 release and defaults on, so five multiplayer-only item types and their Acquire checks can appear in solo seeds.
- Combine summit/ascent, badge-count, golden-idol and Scoutmaster's Soul goals. The selected goals must all be completed.
- Optional DeathLink can react to individual deaths or a failed team run. EnergyLink, RingLink and other shared-resource features offer additional interaction.
Before you start
- This is a beta, not a stable certification. Use matching peak.apworld and PEAKPELAGO files; version 0.6.1 broke older seeds and 0.6.2 only tentatively claims backward compatibility.
- Required Ascent Count exposes 0–8, but the source only creates a Reach Peak completion target for 1–8. Choose at least 1 when Reach Peak is selected.
- Install the BepInEx mod and dependencies through Thunderstore or the documented manual folder. Connect the host through the Archipelago interface and confirm the connection indicator.
- Daily biome rotation can delay access to some checks. Compatibility with third-party biome-selection mods is not established.
- The High Altitude Badge is currently disabled as a check. Startup may briefly hitch while the mod loads hazards used by traps.
- Open co-op reports describe AP progress unlocking vanilla achievements and the Instant Death Trap removing a scout's carried items. Back up normal progress and consider disabling traps for a first game.
- DamageLink and KnockbackLink were introduced as explicitly untested features. A Linux build script is not evidence of a supported Linux player setup, so only Windows is listed.
