How the game changes
- Checks: Rank and level rewards, marked challenges, shop upgrades, optional recycling sets and trigger-combo milestones.
- Items: Skills, upgrade points, crystals, shop features, corruption shards, gold and random gear.
- Goals: Reach the configured rank milestone after 25, 35, 50 or 55 rank-ups.
- Options: Champion, fixed/signature/category skill pools, resource efficiency, extra checks, distribution gates and removing content after the goal.
Before you start
- Pair the v3.0.1 q_up.apworld and Q-AP-v3.0.1 mod. The World requires Archipelago 0.6.7 or newer and uses Q-UP as its YAML game name. Install BepInEx in your owned Q-UP copy and place Q-AP under BepInEx/plugins; connect through the replacement character-selection screen.
- Back up the entire Q-UP data folder before installation or updates, including AP_config and AP_saves. The mod stores separate AP runs; --cxve_ap_disable restores the normal startup route. Keep an existing run attached to its original room and slot rather than editing its connection to another seed.
- Saved checks are resubmitted on reconnect and socket failure returns to the menu. Native saves, receipt counts and queued item effects are not one transaction, so interrupted grants or loading another room with the same run are not fully protected.
- Rank and trigger-combo access use estimated skill/build capability; the release corrects important recycling and combo rules but does not establish every possible build as playable. Choose the documented defaults first and keep the World and mod paired.
- The mod package includes notices for its three managed components and no game assemblies were identified. The APWorld omits its source licence notice, and exact game/loader versions plus complete reconstruction of the packaged client remain unestablished.
