How the game changes
- Abilities, badges, potions and attack upgrades can cross worlds. Other players' pickups use an exclamation mark; the client identifies their destination.
- The goal is an Easter Egg hunt, not the vanilla story ending. Eggs stay in your own world; collect the required share and claim the trophy in the starting room. The default is five eggs, all required.
- Map constraints add obstacles that turn familiar open routes into item gates, with twenty selected by default. Optional entrance and starting-location shuffles change exploration further.
- Knowledge and execution difficulty are separate settings. Clips, zips, dark or underwater travel without the usual protection and particular weapon assumptions can be controlled independently.
- Apply Beginner Mod reveals hidden paths and breakable blocks and adjusts some softlock-prone areas. Attack Mode can boost starting damage; it defaults to Hyper rather than vanilla damage.
- Optional Plurkwood, warp destinations, postgame, post-Irisu and Halloween locations expand the pool. DeathLink, Universal Tracker and a compatible PopTracker map are available.
Before you start
- Even Basic knowledge and Normal difficulty assume hidden movement techniques from low-item playthroughs. Follow the maintainer-linked platforming tutorial first; this is not a conventional beginner run of the base game.
- Install the 1.5.3 APWorld with Archipelago 0.6.7 or later. Connect its Rabi-Ribi Client, select the Steam installation, then use F5 on the game's main menu to choose the generated scenario.
- Halloween locations require the matching DLC. Some optional warp-destination checks may require completing the game to revisit if missed.
- An unresolved device-specific report describes incoming items failing with an invalid-handle error. Verify actual item delivery on your machine before relying on a long multiworld session; a connection alone is not enough.
- Another report describes beating Rumi early through a Forgotten Cave II zip blocking later story chapters. Avoid this sequence break; postgame and advanced routes need particular care.
- Rainbow Egg In Logic cannot be combined with Encourage Eggs In Late Spheres. More extreme tricks and disruptive background options are not implied by the conservative settings.
- This listing covers the documented Windows memory-based client. Native Linux, shared-world co-op and a guaranteed bug-free seed are not claimed.
