How the game changes

  • 101 checks cover 35 Watto purchases, three Pit Droid purchases, 25 race completions, 17 first-place rewards and 21 extra course-unlock rewards.
  • All 25 physical tracks are shuffled among circuit slots. Full Shuffle mixes race-slot unlocks into the multiworld; two circuit-pass modes keep the 21 subsequent-slot rewards local.
  • Seven pod-part categories use five named tiers by default or five-copy progressive families. Six random racers start unlocked; the default pool contains the other 17.
  • The client reports victory after completing all 25 race slots. The World’s completion logic describes access through the configured unlock items, which is a different condition.
  • Optional mirrored tracks, one-lap races, part-damage removal, shop pricing and AI scaling change the experience. Parts and racers do not gate courses in the World logic.

Before you start

  • Use the matching v0.8.0 APWorld and client bundle. This release uses dsound.dll and APCpp.dll beside the game, with a new profile for each seed; earlier client versions are incompatible.
  • Course names in the check list describe circuit slots or physical first-place rewards. The seed determines the actual course assignment; there is no fixed default track at Amateur Race 1.
  • The reviewed client maps the item labelled 400 Truguts to an amount of 100. In Circuits mode, the World’s shop-access helper also checks an Invitational item name without “Pass”, so that pass is not counted by that helper. These are source observations, not results from a played seed.
  • The client may show previously purchased Pit Droid checks after restarting. It requires 1,000 displayed Truguts to select them but only deducts money for checks not already recorded.
  • Published DLLs were not rebuilt or run. Windows/Proton behavior, progress recovery and a completed multiworld have not been independently tested for this page.
