How the game changes
- Boss defeats and event completions send checks; received progression flags control changes such as Hardmode and post-boss access.
- Optional achievement checks and item rewards extend the item pool beyond world flags.
- Play an individual world or a shared multiplayer world, linked to other Terraria worlds or entirely different games.
- In-game commands expose Archipelago chat and the progression flags you have actually received.
Before you start
- The public Workshop item is available and not banned according to Steam's API, checked October 10, 2026. Its changelog documents mod 2.2 for stable tModLoader v2026.5. The page's hidden removal/incompatibility notification templates do not establish either status; availability also does not prove runtime compatibility.
- The latest public client source is the repository's main branch, whose build.txt still declares 2.1; no public GitHub 2.2 tag or release was available when reviewed, so the Workshop 2.2 bytes cannot be matched to that source revision.
- This is Seldom's implementation. Other Terraria Archipelago mods use different worlds and are not interchangeable.
- Boss loot is not the same as a received progression flag. A defeated boss does not necessarily grant its usual world unlock.
- The core guide recommends a lower difficulty than your normal Terraria run. Large progression-overhaul mods require their own compatibility review.
- This entry conservatively lists Windows. Do not infer tested Linux or macOS mod support from Terraria's Steam platform list.
