How the game changes

  • Checks: 82 by default across exploration, rescues, upgrade quests and bosses; Craftsanity adds 93.
  • Items: Characters, upgrades, movement equipment, crafting materials, musical scores and Yen.
  • Goal: Open the final route through regional bosses and defeat Aqours Memoria.
  • Options: Easy/hard logic, progressive characters, upgrade hints, recipe algorithms, drop rates and optional DeathLink/DamageLink.
  • Update: World 0.2.5 is paired with native mod 0.0.6 and loader 0.0.2.
Explore game mechanics

Before you start

  • Use World 0.2.5 with YohaneAPMod 0.0.6 and YohaneBIDModLoader 0.0.2, as linked by the World release. Its manifest requires Archipelago 0.6.7 or newer; the release reports a 0.6.8 base. The native mod is a prerelease. The old Python client remains bundled, but the current setup guide prefers the native mod; DropRateIncrease is not supported by the old client.
  • Rename the release loader DLL to dinput8.dll beside game.exe. Place the mod ZIP contents in .mods/YohaneAPMod, place its APCpp.dll beside game.exe, and add YohaneAPMod to the loader’s active_mods setting. Configure host and slot in the mod config.ini; connection starts when a save is loaded. The supplied password key differs from the key read by the native source, so password-protected rooms need that configuration discrepancy checked against the maintainer’s build.
  • There are 82 ordinary checks: 46 chests, eight rescues, eight character-upgrade quests, eleven boss fights and nine refights. Lailaps and a starting weapon are available initially; the multiworld supplies characters, upgrades, equipment and materials. Defeat the eight regional bosses to open the final route, then defeat Aqours Memoria. Craftsanity adds 93 recipe checks, taking the addressed total to 175; the final victory is a separate event.
  • World 0.2.5 adds area-based and area-locked recipe algorithms alongside full randomization, plus a drop-rate option. Mod 0.0.6 reports fixes for drop rates, the Sunken Volcano refight and early character upgrades, and additional wrong-slot protection. Vanilla recipes and Craftsanity off are the conservative defaults: randomized recipes and Craftsanity still carry upstream beatability warnings. DeathLink and DamageLink are optional.
  • The loader redirects this mod’s game saves into its own SAVEDATA directory and the mod keeps separate AP metadata there. Back up both before changing builds or rooms. The reviewed native source initializes a save-validation flag to false without a later true assignment, then returns before most periodic AP processing; this remains a source-level concern, not a reproduced game failure. Save/metadata consistency, offline-check recovery and repeated item delivery have no complete persistent recovery guarantees in the inspected code.
  • All 21 packaged World Python modules match the tagged source by AST, and 18 game-specific test functions cover access and recipe structure; those tests were read rather than run. Native archives, the loader and exact APCpp dependency were inspected without executing the game or rebuilding DLLs. Connection credentials are stored in config.ini, transport can fall back from WSS to WS, and logs/crash dumps should be reviewed before sharing. The World is MIT-licensed; complete mod/loader distribution notices remain undocumented.
