Browse possible checks, rewards and settings. What appears in your game depends on your World options.
The release defines 186 possible checks: 68 achievements, 70 server backdoors, 27 faction joins, 11 darkweb purchases and 10 program-creation actions. Six default-off content options account for 20 checks, leaving 166 with standard settings. The 116 default augmentation rewards are applied immediately in the reviewed browser client, without the usual installation reset. The five distinct port-opening programs are also multiworld items; in-game writing or purchases can put the player ahead of the World’s port-based backdoor logic, which does not model hacking skill, money or reputation. The default set includes “Reach SF x.3 in Every BitNode”, which cannot be completed in the advertised first BitNode 1 run. This catalog follows the hash-verified APWorld and a dated hosted-client snapshot; it is static source review, not a generated seed or runtime test.

Each browser save represents an independent Archipelago slot. Checks and augmentation or program items travel through the multiworld; this does not create a shared Bitburner economy or map.
Known scope and limitations
- Use the linked Archipelago-enabled browser build with bitburner.apworld 0.6.0. Install the APWorld on your generator, create the YAML and room, then open Options → Archipelago in the browser game. This review does not cover the unmodified Steam client.
- The default check list includes a multi-BitNode achievement that cannot be completed within the advertised first-BitNode run. The logic also omits hacking-skill, money and reputation requirements, so access indicated by the World can precede practical access in the game.
- Use a separate save for each room and slot, and keep backups. Saved Archipelago progress is associated with the seed but does not fully distinguish slots within that seed.
- Backdoor and faction conditions are sampled periodically. A reset before the next sample can miss a transient condition; interrupted item delivery and victory reporting also have incomplete recovery paths.
- Room passwords are retained in game settings and can be included in exported saves. Remove sensitive settings before sharing a save. Imported saves can restart their saved programs, as part of the underlying programming game.
- The hosted game can change independently of the APWorld release. The reviewed browser files were captured on 9 October 2026; complete notice presentation, a rebuilt browser package and runtime compatibility were not independently verified.
