How the game changes
- The base World contains 281 ordinary checks and a completion event. Sacred checks add 14 locations and memory-card victories add 19; each group can be enabled separately.
- Incoming items unlock 143 charms, phone abilities, seven memory-card packs, five progressive skeleton pieces and four progressive drawers. Luck and ticket rewards support later runs.
- Choose a specified key ending, repeatedly reach a selected deadline, or escape with a chosen number of different memory cards. An in-game panel displays the selected goal and progress.
- Charm labels distinguish purchase, activation, trigger and equip checks. A phone checklist and Archipelago console show unlocked calls and completed actions.
- Optional DeathLink can include restarts. Coin and clover traps remove a configured percentage of the current resource; trap counts and hard mode are configurable.
Before you start
- This review covers release v1.2.2 for Windows. Its release note names compatibility with game update 1.4; compatibility with later game updates or DLC has not been established.
- Install the APWorld on the generator and configure a CloverPit slot. Follow the maintainer guide for BepInEx, then place the three release DLLs in BepInEx/plugins. Launch the game, enter the room address, slot and password, connect, and start a new run. F8 opens the integration panel. The guide does not provide a complete version matrix or generation walkthrough.
- The mod redirects native game data to an Archipelago-specific filename and writes progression sidecars in BepInEx/config/AP_SAVES. It disables Continue and seeded-run menu choices. Sidecar writes are not atomic, and some state survives a connection change; use separate, backed-up game data when trying this release.
- Item replay and reconnection need care: the stored receipt counter is overwritten from a separate state field, queues are not fully reset between connections, and most action hooks require an active connection. Complete recovery of offline checks or interrupted item application is not demonstrated.
- The World and mod do not express all goals identically. Memory-card and repeated-deadline objectives have incomplete World completion rules; some item-group names and an optional call rule also differ from the actual tables. Optional locations can carry over between slots during generation.
- The distributed mod contains an active P-key shortcut that grants Card Pack 1. This bypasses normal multiworld acquisition of that pack.
- Room passwords are displayed unmasked and stored in BepInEx/config/AP_LOGIN/login.txt. An address without a scheme can fall back from encrypted to unencrypted transport; use an explicit wss:// address when supported by the server and remove credentials before sharing configuration files.
- The inspected archives contain integration code and identified Archipelago/Newtonsoft libraries, with no game DLLs or audiovisual asset bundle identified. Distribution notices and a reproducible full build remain incomplete; this review did not execute the game.
