Complete islands and equipment runs while other worlds unlock your arsenal. Version 1.4.0 adds full equipment pools, pool-only goal counting and improved perk stacking.
The list contains all 16,945 source-defined location IDs, not a promise that every seed creates them. Default settings produce 957 checks across a Short run: island and Bronze-rank completions, equipment runs for 5 randomly chosen weapons, 3 melee weapons and 3 abilities, and 284 non-Greed pickup checks. The 21 Greed pickup checks are excluded by default. Required Rank, run length, pool selections, Extra Rank Checks, Minimize Run Checks and pickup options change the generated set. Checks tagged Default are guaranteed by standard settings; seed-selected equipment candidates remain conditional.
Actions and milestones that can send a check to your multiworld.
16,945 locationsDefault marks checks from configurations selected by standard options; the generated set can still vary with logic and seed.

Playing with others
Individual Archipelago slots can exchange items in synchronous or asynchronous sessions. Shared native co-op behavior is undocumented and should be confirmed with the maintainer first.
Known scope and limitations
Install the 1.4.0 APWorld and mod together. The maintainer states compatibility with 1.3 seeds; these keep the older completion rule. The client rejects a different location-ID layout before accepting the slot.
The documented installation uses the Windows x64 game and UE4SS 3.0.1, with Archipelago 0.6.4 or newer. Install both CrabChampionsAP and CrabInvMngmt, and preserve the required load order when merging mods.txt with an existing setup.
Keep an independent backup of the original game save before connecting. The mod temporarily changes equipment unlocks and account values and keeps its own backup, but backup creation and restoration are not atomic and their full success is not enforced before continuing.
Reconnect handling now resets crystal and overflow state, but pending checks remain in memory. Interrupted native sends, restarts and switching rooms are not protected by a durable acknowledgement ledger; verify important checks and completion after reconnecting.
The client can advance its received-item index after a failed grant or missing native asset. Delayed inventory batches are not explicitly tied to a connection generation, so complete interruption recovery is not established.
The masked room password is nevertheless saved in plaintext in ap_config.json. Treat configuration files as private. A secure transport policy could not be verified for the unidentified native networking build.
The distributed Lua files match the tagged source and the APWorld matches after line-ending normalization. The two native DLLs are prebuilt in that repository without complete source/build and redistribution notices; their internals and complete provenance remain unverified.
No independent game session was performed for this review. Linux/Proton support and compatibility with an exact game build are not established by the supplied package.
