Source catalog Release 4.0.2

The catalog lists 1,506 addressable checks from the APWorld bundled with client 4.0.2; four internal event entries have no network address. With default settings, DLC is enabled and the 37 checks flagged for NG+ content are disabled, leaving 1,469 addressable checks before item-placement restrictions. The maintainer notes those NG+-flagged rewards can appear in a normal NG run without entering NG+. There are 279 DLC-tagged checks: 266 in DLC areas and 13 DLC boss-soul shop trades at Firelink; using them requires ownership of both expansions. By default, Hidden, Small Crystal Lizards, Upgrade, Small Souls and Miscellaneous groups cannot hold progression items; missable locations also cannot hold progression. Those checks remain part of the location set and may hold other item classes, depending on the selected behavior. Counts describe source tables, not a tested seed.

Independent single-player runs connected through Archipelago. This entry does not claim native online co-op compatibility.

Known scope and limitations

  • Use the current fswap client and maintainer guide, not the older 3.x setup still linked from some Archipelago pages. The documented game version is 1.15.2.
  • Some new options require the APWorld bundled with this client. Generate the local randomizer data before launching the modded game.
  • Optional enemy randomization can create broken encounters or crashes. The maintainer documents disabling it while preserving item placements.
  • Linux has a dedicated package, but the static randomizer requires .NET under plain Wine. Public Linux startup reports remain open; support is documented, not independently tested here.
  • Use the supplied ModEngine3 launcher and its offline game protections. Do not treat this as ordinary online Souls co-op.

This integration is maintained independently of Panludia. Downloads are provided by its maintainer. Contact the maintainer through the linked repository or support channels.
