Turn Lordran’s pickups, bosses and shops into multiworld checks. The current regular client improves shop handling and adds coloured AP items; a separate experimental client extends collect and co-op support.

Source catalog Release 0.2.6DSR APWorld 0.2.6 · Windows client 0.2.6.1
The 0.2.6 package defines 810 possible AP checks; default options expose 728 before personal exclusions. The other 181 named rows are logic events, doors, bonfires, ordinary enemy drops or missable entries that this release does not expose as AP checks. Fog walls, boss rewards, Black Knight weapons, Crystal Lizards and merchant stock vary with options. Item counts are distinct item types, not quantities in one seed. The released APWorld has one Gwyndolin entrance-rule difference from the later reviewed source snapshot, so this catalog follows the published package.

Playing with others
Solo Souls runs exchange items through Archipelago. Experimental Seamless Co-op guidance uses one shared AP slot with a DSAP client for each player, but it is not thoroughly tested and does not permit official Souls online play.
Known scope and limitations
Use the regular dsr-Windows-x64.zip client, internally 0.2.6.1, with dsr.apworld 0.2.6 from the same release page. The maintainer still describes the integration as beta. The documented game build is Steam App 1.03.1 / Regulation 1.04, with Archipelago 0.6.7 or later; Prepare to Die Edition is unsupported.
Set the game to Start Offline and keep AP saves away from the official online service. Back up vanilla and AP saves separately; close the client and restart the game before returning to ordinary play.
NG+ removes key items and can prevent continued progress. Leave Gwyn until every required objective/check is finished. A received fog key may require restarting both game and client before the wall updates.
The 0.2.6.1 hotfix addresses Rickert’s shop and attempts to improve bonfire synchronization. The maintainer still lists bonfire-sync crashes; the overlay now starts disabled unless an older saved preference enables it.
For missing Lord Soul delivery, use the documented /lordvessel diagnostics. Early warp settings can expose routes outside normal logic, and blacksmith embers should be handed in in upgrade order.
Avoid relying on oversized guaranteed-item lists: the reviewed pool builder can leave requested or required additions unfulfilled after its replacement items run out. Restart DSAP when switching rooms, and retain backups when resuming or updating.
The client stores the last room password in saved-settings.json. Item application and the server-side receipt cursor are not saved as one transaction with the game; complete recovery from interrupted delivery or restored saves is not established.
Windows is the documented tested environment. Proton support and combinations with other mods remain preliminary. The experimental client’s complete source correspondence could not be established, so its additional co-op behavior is not included in the default badges.
