DracominoArchipelago randomizer mod

Trade falling-block shapes and abilities across a multiworld while clearing lines and collecting board coins. Game 0.3.3 adds TrapLink groups, revised effects and a fishing fix; its separate APWorld remains 0.3.0.

How the game changes

  • Clear lines and collect coins on a falling-block board to send checks. Other worlds supply a finite sequence of shapes, from monominoes to pentominoes, plus rotation, drop, hold and preview abilities.
  • Clear the selected line target in one run: 1 to 1,000 lines, with a default of 100. Board restarts replay the received shape sequence; line and coin checks already credited remain collected.
  • Adjust starting and extra shapes, shape weights, orientations, early abilities, line-clear leniency and stacking assumptions. Presets offer classic tetrominoes or all shape types. Optional DeathLink, TrapLink and EnergyLink connect the experience to other slots.
  • Game 0.3.3 adds TrapLink groups, revised space physics, a fishing-piece fix, a licences screen and visual updates. Riptide can arrive through Random Trap or TrapLink but is not a separate item in APWorld 0.3.0.

Before you start

  • Use the Windows or Linux game build v0.3.3 with the separate APWorld v0.3.0. The World requires Archipelago 0.5.1 or newer and game 0.3.0 or newer. Generate your YAML and multiworld, host the resulting archive, then enter its server, port, slot and password in the game.
  • The browser version is a separate delivery route and may vary by browser; it was not checked against these desktop packages. Keyboard and controller are supported, but there is no in-game rebinding and mobile is unsupported. Running from source targets Godot 4.4.x.
  • The game and World currently differ on one trap: the World calls item 212 Invert Colors Trap, while game 0.3.3 applies Random Trap. Expect a random effect for that received item. Versus Mode is explicitly experimental and should not be treated as the normal progression mode.
  • Choose stacking and leniency settings for your ability. The author does not support external trackers; their predictions are not a substitute for the in-game board. Excessively dense short-goal configurations are rejected during generation.
  • Server-confirmed checks and received inventory can be rebuilt on connection. The current board, locally pending checks and unsent victory state are not durably saved by the inspected game code. Finish important actions while connected; reopening the game does not establish continuation of the same board.
  • Connection recovery exists within a running session, but incompatible game versions produce a warning rather than a hard refusal. Use the reviewed game/World pair and the intended slot.
  • The network client can fall back from encrypted to plaintext WebSocket. The saved connection settings omit the password, but the reviewed password field is not masked. Protection of credentials and local cached data is incomplete.
  • The game includes licences for its original code, art, audio and dependencies. A separate APWorld redistribution licence and a complete engine rebuild were not established. The packaged game scripts and APWorld files were matched to their pinned sources; no game session was run.
