Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Megamix+Archipelago randomizer mod
Unlock songs through the multiworld and send two checks per song clear. Choose a Leek collection or check-percentage goal, then clear the goal song; the current release adds speed and sound traps alongside client-log and DeathLink options.

How the game changes
- Checks: two rewards for clearing each selected starting/additional song at the configured grade; any available difficulty supplies the same pair. The goal track ends the seed rather than adding normal checks.
- Items: song unlocks, Leeks, optional Progressive HP, useful duplicate song copies, configurable traps and filler. Starting songs are precollected; the goal track stays out of the randomized song pool.
- Goals: reach the selected Leek or completed-check threshold, unlock the goal track and clear it. World logic also assumes every placed Progressive HP item is received; the linked native goal condition has a documented review limit.
- Song selection: optional Extra Song Pack DLC, chosen goal/include/exclude tracks, difficulty/star filters and local custom-song metadata. Explicitly selected tracks override filters and narrow pools may expand.
- Shared-room options: independently configurable DeathLink and TrapLink, non-lethal damage, amnesty, anti-chain timing and retry controls. Trap durations reset with the current song attempt.
- Release 1.5.3B: the World adds SFX, HiSpeed and NoSpeed trap items; maintainer notes also describe colored client logs, configurable DeathLink groups and fixes. The linked native dispatcher does not establish every new trap effect.
Before you start
- Reviewed APWorld release 1.5.3B was published September 29, 2026; its internal World manifest is 1.5.3 and requires Archipelago 0.6.7 or later. The separately downloaded DIVA Mod Archive companion identifies itself as 1.3.3. These component versions are distinct, not interchangeable labels.
- Requires the Steam PC game, DivaModLoader and the separate Archipelago Mod. Extra Song Pack DLC is optional. Custom song packs must be installed locally and included with the JSON generator; custom-song seeds require local generation. A Linux clipboard note is not proof that the native game mod supports Linux/Proton.
- Starting, explicitly included and goal songs ignore difficulty filters; restrictive generation can expand the requested difficulty range. Any available difficulty earns the same checks. Use F7 or Client > Reload for newly received songs; Extreme-only custom charts may also require ExPatch.
- The packaged World requires all placed Progressive HP for logical completion, while the linked native goal unlock uses only the Leek/check threshold. The reviewed native source also has a clear-grade callback mismatch and incomplete correspondence for some new traps. These source findings were not confirmed by running the supplied DLLs.
- The linked native source restores server-known item/check history on connection, but has no durable offline check/goal queue. Finish songs while connected; if a disconnection occurs near a result or goal, reconnect and replay the song to confirm its check or victory reaches the room.
- Saving native client settings stores the room password in plaintext settings.toml. The pinned network-library source can fall back from encrypted to unencrypted AP transport after initial TLS failures. Complete credential/transport protection was not established for the distributed native build.
- The companion includes licence notices plus placeholder media and UI resources. Their complete provenance and separate redistribution basis were not established; this review does not determine infringement. The rom folders are PC game asset paths, not evidence that a console ROM is required.
- The World archive differs from its release-tag sources in the trap table, manifest and setup guide. Eighteen companion assets match linked source files; config differs only by newlines, while the two DLLs lack a verified build/source match. Supplied generation assertions were read without executing tests or the game.
