Compatibility notes

• This listing covers the Windows Steam game with BepInEx. Install hot_lava.apworld 0.1.0 for generation and the separate HotLavaArchipelago 0.1.1 plugin from Thunderstore, including its BepInExPack 5.4.2305 dependency. The two components intentionally have different version numbers.
• Follow the plugin's current instructions: launch modded, create a new profile, finish the introduction, press Esc and open the Archipelago menu. Enter the room address, port, exact slot name and any password, then connect. Older chat-command instructions are not the current recommended route.
• Keep Pogo, Tiny Toy and Jetpack stars enabled for this release. Although these toggles exist, the generator's victory rule still looks up their Master Class completion locations when disabled, unlike the client's filtered goal check. The supplied defaults leave all three enabled.
• Use a separate new profile for each seed and do not switch slots inside an existing campaign. The reviewed connection code does not establish a persistent seed-and-slot binding that would protect a reused profile from the wrong room.
• Stay connected while collecting checks. After a failed login, disconnect and reconnect or restart before continuing: the client's connected flag can be set even after a refused login. A displayed connection state alone is not proof that the server accepted your slot.
• Reconnecting processes received items again, including XP and temporary effects. The reviewed client does not promise exactly-once delivery for every filler or trap. Connection settings can include a locally stored password; keep configuration files private.
• Use a trusted room and back up your normal profiles before installing. Panludia reviewed the published packages, instructions and relevant source, but has not independently completed a game with these builds or verified native Linux or macOS support.
