How the game changes

  • Checks: 580 unique source-defined check candidates across sector completions, checkpoints, level and stat milestones, posters, ribbons, weapon actions, optional collectibles and upgrades. 177 checks are active with the release defaults.
  • Items: Seven stat items and nine Progressive Sector Access copies form the default progression pool. Upgrade items stay at their game locations; 98 filler copies are distributed by seed-dependent weights.
  • Goals: Seven sector endings are available, from Sector 3 through the optional Sector Y route. The default goal is the Sector X ending.
  • Options: Select check categories, weapon-check mode, stat and sector access rules, upgrades, optional traps, DeathLink and music shuffle. Fire Anytime is off by default; its source documentation says many enabled shortcuts are not covered by logic.
Explore game mechanics

Before you start

  • The bundled setup guide uses ConnectionInfo.ini and the Windows randomizer package. Its README says music files are not included and must be copied from the original game or soundtrack.
  • Version labels differ across release assets: the APWorld and YAML say 1.2.6, slot data says ModSemantic 1.2.5, and the bundled randomizer README title says 1.2.0. No client/APWorld compatibility pairing was run.
  • The source documentation warns that many shortcuts enabled by Fire Anytime are not represented in logic. The option defaults to Off.
  • This page is based on static source and package review. No seed, game, or client session was run; runtime behavior and compatibility remain unverified.
