Source catalog Release Lunacid 1.1.2The release is tagged 1.1.2; the packaged APWorld manifest reports data version 7 and the World source declares Archipelago 0.6.1 as its required client version.

The self-contained 1.1.2 APWorld package includes its World source and defines 1,417 possible checks: 229 base checks plus eight October checks under default options when the World module is imported in October. It adds two December checks, but the packaged item-generation path does not call its matching Crimpus item helper. Several option comments differ from the packaged tables: shops 8 vs 9, unique drops 22 vs 19, randomized drops 155 vs 143, lore 68 vs 67, and breakables 308 vs 318. Counts here follow the packaged tables and activation code. The paired Windows mod and pinned C# source archive were inspected, but the binary build correspondence and runtime behavior were not verified.

Actions and milestones that can send a check to your multiworld.

1,417 locationsDefault marks checks from configurations selected by standard options; the generated set can still vary with logic and seed.

Playing with others

A solo Lunacid character exchanges items with other worlds. Reconnection is part of the client, but optional gifts need the recipient actively playing according to an unresolved report. Native shared-world co-op is not established.

Known scope and limitations

  • Use the paired 1.1.2 mod archive and APWorld. Extract the mod at the game executable, launch once, then connect while creating a new AP character. Back up existing saves.
  • Windows is packaged directly. Linux uses the documented Proton/Wine winhttp override, not a native Linux client. Follow the installation guide for the exact override.
  • For a conservative first run, leave entrance shuffle, experimental enemy shuffle and challenge modes off. No Logic and No EXP challenges explicitly do not promise a winnable run.
  • Avoid a Forsaken start without checking the supplied weapon or spell is usable. The mechanics guide warns that insufficient spell resources can require restarting with a different build.
  • Received keys may need an area reload before doors react. For talismans, the maintainer also suggests revisiting their chests. A connected-looking client that stops sending checks should be reported, not treated as healthy.
  • A completed-run report describes an asymmetric surface entrance and an ineffective Check Compass. Another report identifies a hostname-length limit. Use a short, stable server address and port when possible.
  • Port-change instructions conflict: the packaged setup describes a title-menu option, while the repository README suggests editing JSON and a player reports encoded saves. Do not edit or share a save blindly to change connection details.
  • Offline delivery of the optional gifting system is reported unreliable. This is distinct from ordinary AP progression items; do not rely on gifts as an asynchronous progression mechanism.
