How the game changes
- 175 randomized checks by default, up to 234 with optional pools. Dungeon rewards, NPC quests, trades, Grelin drops, hidden pickups and shop rewards retain distinct conditions.
- 104 possible item identities include three progressive equipment families, universal or dungeon keys, five Colors, five Blessings and optional traps.
- Five goal choices: Var, Hero’s Rest, Shadow Oran, Torran, or any one of those four endings. Completion events are separate from reward checks.
- 45 listed settings cover thresholds, placement restrictions, optional content, starts, shortcuts, altar effects, curses and trap selection.
Before you start
- The v0.2.4 client targets Prodigal 1.8, but the release notes explicitly leave the new 1.8 items and dungeons outside the randomized content. Earlier mod saves are not compatible with this release.
- The World models reaching an ending event; the client reports actual ending sequences. This source review does not demonstrate a completed run.
- Trap timers use update ticks, so the advertised 20 seconds assumes roughly 60 eligible updates per second. A rare Love Trap changes marriage state instead of applying a temporary effect.
- The default Any-goal description mentions three endings, but both World and client code accept all four, including Hero’s Rest. The trading-completion check and Ulni Trade share a network ID with different names across modes.
- Use BepInEx 5 and the matching APWorld/client package. The manifest requires Archipelago 0.6.3 or later. The distributed DLL was hashed but not rebuilt or executed.
