How the game changes
- Rebuild Sybil's movement toolkit with randomized abilities, health pieces, small keys and the five major keys, while exploration checks send items to other worlds.
- Progressive Dream Breaker and Slide preserve an upgrade sequence. Split Sun Greaves and Cling Gem divide mobility into incremental air kicks and clings.
- Optional bronze time trials, goat conversations, chairs, books and notes expand the check pool. The current World defines 116 possible network locations; the enabled options determine the actual total.
- Collect the five major keys and defeat the final encounter. Optional tombstone hints identify where those keys were placed.
- Choose a starting point and movement-logic difficulty. Advanced modes deliberately expect more demanding movement; the World grants initial tools for the selected opening route.
- Version 0.11.0 moves client preferences into the in-game options menu and makes the Solar Wind toggle remappable. Item appearances, message filters and popups are configurable.
- The new Ultra Cap option reproduces the higher movement cap without using the unsupported Full Gold game branch. Logic now uses rule-builder clauses.
- The release addresses injected Healing/Magic effects and a Dream Breaker despawn case. DeathLink remains optional; the in-game console offers hints and return-to-spawn support.
Before you start
- Use the updated game with the matching 0.11.0 mod and APWorld. The older Full Gold game branch is no longer supported and can leave Surrounded By Holes inaccessible. Ultra Cap is a gameplay option, not support for that older build.
- Install into a separate copy of the game folder as the guide describes. The APWorld requires Archipelago 0.6.7 or newer. While the integration has major version zero, client and World minor versions must match; this is still a pre-1.0 integration.
- Client preferences now live in the in-game options menu. settings.toml and settings.tmpl.toml are no longer used. PseudoMenuMod is incompatible; Linux/Steam Deck setup uses the documented Proton and dwmapi override, not a native Linux build.
- On Hard or higher, preserve the documented hanging platform in Sansa Keep because a route can depend on it. Optional time-trial checks and advanced logic assume familiarity with the required movement.
- Reconnect retries and a seed check are present, but a durable queue for one-time checks and offline completion is not established. Confirm important checks and the final goal on the server after an interruption, and keep independent save backups.
- Received-item batches are not fully deduplicated by index in the reviewed transport/client pair. Replayed batches and grouped Magic recovery can therefore be handled inconsistently; this is a source finding, not a measured frequency in play.
- The reviewed source enables debug output that includes the room password in a connection packet, and the pinned transport can fall back to unencrypted WebSocket. Keep connection logs private and avoid reusing sensitive credentials.
- The actual World matches the tagged source after newline normalization, apart from generated manifest fields. Full native/Blueprint rebuild correspondence and redistribution documentation for every embedded asset, including the Cyberbit font, remain unestablished. This does not determine whether a permission exists elsewhere.
