ReventureArchipelago randomizer mod
Discover unusual endings while other worlds supply your next tool, character or shortcut. The normal randomizer reshapes familiar routes; an optional experimental generator goes much further.

How the game changes
- Discovering endings sends location checks. Progression items unlock equipment, chest contents, the Princess, the Anvil and other objects that would normally already be available.
- Cannons, geysers, elevator controls, portals, the vine and the castle floor become received unlocks. Some characters also wait for their item; the chicken requires all four growth items.
- Progressive Sword items unlock sword access in stages. An optional Treasure Sword setting adds the treasure-room sword to that progression.
- Reach the ultimate ending after meeting the configured ending and gem requirements. The defaults are forty endings and three of four shuffled gems; the gem requirement is a configurable proportion rounded down.
- Hard Jumps and Hard Combat can expand what the logic expects you to perform. Both default to off, keeping difficult jumps and shieldless combat out of the normal assumed route.
- Non-stop modes allow selected endings without their usual interruption. The default Logical mode differs from Everything, which can bypass obstacles and break normal logic assumptions.
- The ending gallery includes in-logic hints, while the map and compass retain their hint functions. Cosmetic filler can rename the hero, Princess or Dark Lord.
Before you start
- This is a published preview, not a stable certification. Use the APWorld and both client DLLs from the same 0.21.1 release; earlier 0.21 builds could start with no jump height when using a normal world.
- Install the 32-bit Windows BepInEx build, launch once, then place the randomizer DLL in plugins and Archipelago.MultiClient.Net.dll in core. The two DLLs do not go in the same folder.
- Linux uses the Windows game through Proton and the maintainer's winhttp override. This is not a native Linux mod; a Linux build of the optional generation tool is a separate component.
- Back up existing saves and start a new save after entering the room connection and slot. Later, select that associated save to reconnect. A complete offline or corrupted-save recovery guarantee is not established by this review.
- Keep experimentalRegionGraph disabled for a first run. The optional RegionsGenerator changes item positions, starting position and jump height, needs host permission and can produce inaccessible locations or invalid logic.
- The in-game tracker does not support experimental generation; the author directs those players to Universal Tracker. An open report also describes sword-related hints appearing too early in the normal gallery.
- The Everything non-stop setting changes hazards, including lava, and can break logic assumptions. Prefer the default Logical setting unless deliberately testing alternate behavior.
- No DeathLink option is established in the reviewed world. Do not confuse the game's many death endings with cross-game linked deaths.
