Setup & releases

Choose the documented game and integration versions and follow the original installation instructions.

Compatibility notes

  • The client is built into the game: place the release's ArchipelagoSilverDaze.json in its www folder to enable the mode, and install silverdaze.apworld separately in Archipelago. No additional BepInEx plugin or external game-client executable is supplied by this release.
  • The guide requires Silver Daze GOLD 1.4.1 or later, while the developer's 1.4.8 announcement explicitly adds APWorld compatibility. Use an up-to-date purchased Windows copy. Linux, Proton, macOS and the browser demo are not established integration targets here.
  • Choose New Game, then Archipelago, and enter the host, room port and exact slot name. The guide recommends a separate Generic Client or Universal Tracker for chat and hints because these are not available directly in the game.
  • Save the AP campaign and resume the same room and slot. The game remembers connection details in its save. Keep backups of ordinary progress; offline buffering, credential handling and save isolation in the built-in client have not been independently inspected by Panludia.
  • Received items wait until combat ends. The guide also suggests changing rooms to refresh a missing delivery. Shop checks use party-size gates: 17 require one member, then tiers of 5, 6, 5, 6, 6 and 14 checks for parties of two through seven.
  • Disabling a reward category does not necessarily remove its fight or obstacle. Minibosses can still block a route, and excluded rewards become local random cards rather than useful multiworld progression.
  • Keep enough boss categories enabled for a Chaos Chip goal. The generator caps the chip pool and its own completion threshold when too few eligible rewards remain, but the original requested chip count is still sent to the built-in client. Avoid relying on that fallback to make a campaign completable.
  • Entropy with ordinary options is a clearer first campaign than the more specialized goals. Omni's written access list and generator rule differ, and custom maximum-sized emblem or restricted boss pools have not been exhaustively validated here.
  • DeathLink remains described as in development, not a released feature. The archive uses a capitalized Archipelago.json manifest; it reports world 0.7.4 and minimum AP 0.6.4, but future Archipelago compatibility should not be inferred from that filename alone.
