How the game changes
- Checks: Overworld pickups, shops, crafting upgrades, races and arcade rewards, with optional money and material checks.
- Items: Movement and combat upgrades, Celia and Sable, Astral Gears, teleporters, resources and optional traps.
- Goals: Open the final route with Astral Gears or 21 boss defeats; the client reports victory from the ending event.
- Options: Normal or shuffled traversal, starting equipment, advanced tricks, resource pools, location exclusions, traps and DeathLink.
- Versions: Release 1.6.4 packages APWorld 0.7.5 and a native DLL labelled 1.6.3.
Before you start
- Use the three files from release 1.6.4 together: the supplied APWorld declares 0.7.5, while the native DLL identifies itself as 1.6.3. The release note announces a teleporter fix. These labels are recorded separately rather than treated as interchangeable versions.
- Install BepInEx 5.4 x64 beside TEVI.exe, run the game once and place the randomizer package in BepInEx/plugins. Connect through the Randomizer menu’s Archipelago tab before starting a new Free Roam save. Avoid Random Badge mode. The README includes a Proton winhttp override; Panludia has not verified game compatibility in a live session.
- The default route requires 16 Astral Gears from a pool of 20; an alternative uses 21 boss defeats to open the final route. World logic marks access to Illusion Palace as completion, while the client reports victory from the later ending event. Optional money/material checks, shops, crafting, races and arcade rewards change the scope; there is no single fixed check total.
- Use normal traversal for a simpler starting configuration. Advanced movement options and shuffled transitions add requirements; the highest RabbitWalljump rule does not consistently respect the disabled setting. DLC locations are excluded from this APWorld. Traps default to zero and DeathLink is optional.
- Back up the separate randomizer saves and keep them with their original room and slot. Checks and item/resource queues are saved, but offline-check retransmission is not wired in the reviewed client, reconnect resets the receive index, and trap queues are not persisted. Victory sent while disconnected is not queued for later delivery.
- Keep connection settings private: the UI saves its password field. Use an explicit wss:// address for a secure remote room, as a bare hostname can fall back to an unencrypted connection. Do not add untrusted custom-map files; the loader uses a legacy unsafe serialization format.
- The supplied DLLs are unsigned. Source licences were found, but complete package notices and asset-specific permissions for the supplied UI, skins and tracker imagery were not established. Native game play, exact game-build compatibility and full multiworld completion have not been independently tested.
