How the game changes

  • Checks: 45 pickups, quest rewards, mailbox items, hats and exploration checks.
  • Items: Inventory and quest objects, twelve hats and three progressive weapon tiers.
  • Goal: Defeat normal Corrupt Onion; the alternate ending is outside the stated goal.
  • Options: Place up to two starter progression items early and locally with Quick Start.
  • Setup: Install BepInEx separately; release 0.1.4 changes the distribution packaging.

Before you start

  • Release 0.1.4 removes bundled BepInEx; existing users are told no gameplay/APWorld/YAML update is required. New installs need BepInEx separately. The reviewed plugin identifies itself as 0.1.4, targets BepInEx 5.4.21/Unity Mono and documents Windows Steam and Epic copies. The APWorld has readable source but no version or compatibility manifest.
  • There are 45 randomised checks covering inventory pickups, hats, quests and exploration. Three Progressive Weapon items grant Soil Sword, Fork and Shovel. Keys, heart fruits and documents remain vanilla; the goal is normal Corrupt Onion, not the alternate God Onion ending. Quick Start can place one or two starter progression items early and locally.
  • The generic World item factory refers to an unavailable data field. Custom starting-item or other generic item-factory paths may fail; this does not establish that the separate default item-pool construction fails. Panludia has not run generation or played this build.
  • Connect after starting or continuing a game and remain connected for unique checks and the final boss. Offline checks and victory have no durable retry record. Item-count safeguards exist, but save data is not bound to the room seed/slot and delivery recovery is incomplete. Keep a separate backup before changing rooms or mod versions.
  • The maintainer documents Shift+R to respawn, including escape from the mural cave door, and restart → Continue → reconnect for item desynchronisation. These are recovery procedures, not guarantees for every interrupted session.
  • The password field is visible and connection details pass through the game save/logging code without credential-specific protection. Keep saves and logs private. For a secure remote room, use an explicit wss:// endpoint supplied by your host; a bare hostname can fall back to unencrypted transport.
  • The source has an MIT licence, but the ZIP still contains Assembly-CSharp.dll from the game and lacks complete component-specific redistribution permissions/notices in the examined files. This is a documentation gap, not an accusation. Panludia links to the maintainer’s release and does not host this archive.
