Browse possible checks, rewards and settings. What appears in your game depends on your World options.
The source uses one check for each generated rating milestone, not for each song. Static pool arithmetic gives 137 checks with the published defaults and at most 979 with all DLC, all available chart difficulties, minimum starting items and each trap amount at 10%. The address table reserves 1,101 IDs; 122 are unused by the current song charts. These are source-derived counts, not one generated seed or a runtime test.

Playing with others
One Arcade player per Archipelago slot, exchanging items in synchronous or asynchronous multiworlds. A solo generated multiworld is also possible; this is not a claim of shared-screen or shared-slot co-op.
Known scope and limitations
- This is explicitly an alpha release, not a stable recommendation for every setting. The maintainer warns that poorly chosen options can make a run much too short or too long. Try your configuration before committing to a group room.
- Version 0.8.0-alpha targets game patch 2.3 and its four added songs. The client supports older 0.4.0 through 0.7.2 worlds listed in its release notes, but a new 0.8.0 world requires the new client; older 0.7.x clients are not compatible.
- Install the APWorld in Archipelago and the separate unbeatAP ZIP into the Steam game folder, with BepInEx 5.4 Windows x64. The maintainer documents Linux through Proton with the extra BepInEx setup; Panludia has not independently tested either platform.
- Connect from the Arcade Mode UI and stay connected for AP progression. Challenge-board completions are planned, not additional checks in this reviewed version.
- Earlier versions could accidentally unlock vanilla rating challenges and a Steam achievement after game 2.0 changes. The current source contains blocking patches and the maintainer provides a recovery guide for affected saves. Back up your normal profile rather than assuming an alpha can never affect it.
- Connection details, including the room password, are saved in the local BepInEx configuration. Do not upload that configuration or unredacted diagnostic bundles publicly.
